My mother was at the Laurels from Jan 18 thru Feb 12, when she passed. The care by Dr Patel and his team on the Regency Unit were compassionate and very empathetic to not only my mother but our entire family. It was a difficult time for all of us and Dr. Patel, the nurses, aids and staff helped us so much with the end of life process for my mother.

My mother was at the rehab for 8 weeks. She’s 92 and received excellent care. PT worked her hard which is what she needed! The nurses and aides were awesome. They were there for anything mama needed and didn’t act like it was a ‘bother’. They were all very attentive and pleasant. I felt very comfortable with mama being there and would not hesitate for her to go back if needed

Had a good experience at the Laurels of University Park had a great experience at Regency wing ,,with the best CNA Patience Moyo she was one of my best understanding and caring person.. Also Alexandria was a great CNA ,,Kim Blowe was also caring and kind,,Gus was also a really nice male CNA ,, Had the best nurses Shannon, Miss B the night nurse was amazing as well ,, And Jennifer was really nice and amazing. Therapy:Sally,,Stacy ,Rachelle and Adam were amazing . Social Services Dineen was amazing gave me all the help l needed. Really grateful for these people and others not mentioned by name really had a wonderful recovery at The Laurels of university of Park.

I was at Laurels in rehab for broken hip, recovering from surgery. The doctors and nurses were helpful but the rehab staff were exceptional, especially Carmina. She was patient and kind, guiding me all the way. I highly recommend The Laurels of University Park for rehab.

The staff, including nurses and social workers (Dineen and Kenya), is kind, attentive, and truly cares about the residents. The facility is always clean, and there are plenty of activities to keep everyone engaged. Residents feel safe and well cared for.

On May 17, 2024 - Both of my parents and I were blessed to have them move to the Laurels at University Park. My parents are 87 & 89 years old now - each having several medical issues. The amazing medical staff on the Washington Hall every day has been Professional, Friendly, Loving, Caring, Helpful, Uplifting, & very knowledgeable of my parents medical & personal daily needs. Keisha, Deborah, Laura, Tammie, Paul, Melissa. We all are so impressed with their great care - as a family we are 150 % satisfied - the staff truly cares and that is why I still have my parents to go to visit daily at their Beautiful Facility. Each and every day the Activities Dept. Catherine Blanche Activity Director and Team Ashley Hines, Delores Edloe, Jennifer Raub, & Wren Wood are putting signs and balloons on Residents doors for their Birthdays & Anniversaries. Decorating the Coffee Cafe' or Lounge for families to celebrate. Each and every day they have many fun planned events for the residents to take part in - they keep the Courtyard & entrance of the building beautiful with flowers and seasonal decorations & fill the bird feeders. They are bringing joy to so many residents each day - with their smiles and hard work creating Fun and Laughter. The dinning hall always looks so beautiful - and residents are always laughing & enjoying their delicious daily meals and for special occasions. From my very first visit at the Laurels it felt like HOME for my parents and for me. WE are treated like one of the family - my parents meals are delicious, their cloths are done so nicely , the floors always shine... we are always greeted by the reception desk, Laurel's staff and the residents each and every visit. Our family is so very blessed with the love and care - my parents and I receive daily. Thank you also for Monica Parker in the Business Office for helping me keep my parents paperwork straight monthly...because My parents have requested they want the Laurels to be their FOREVER HOME . My siblings and I moved our mother to Laurels at the beginning of 2024 after visiting several facilities. We have been happy with the decision. The staff at Laurels are wonderful. They provide great care. The activity director stops by weekly to visit mom who is bedridden. Mom has no complaints living at the Laurels long term care facility. Best decision we made.

I was at the Laurels for a month rehabbing a broken. I can say with certainty that the employees, save for a couple, truly care about the comfort and progress of their clients. Even though the food could be improved they do their best with what they're given. Make sure you ask what the smoking rules are.

This nursing home is amazing!! Especially the staff on the Washington wing. My mother who is mentally disabled is being treated with care and dignity here at the Laurels of University Park. At her stay at a Previous nursing home, she was neglected by some staff members causing her to have her right pinky toe amputated. She wasn’t able to walk. She was in so much pain. But the staff at laurels came to the rescue! They made sure her wound was changed properly. They keep my mother clean and looking good! Her clothes are not missing when the staff washes them. And now my mother can walk again!!! Special thanks to Keisha and Tammy and all the staff members who work the Washington wing!! Keep doing the best you can!! and I really do appreciate you guys! This nursing home really restored my faith in humanity and I am forever grateful knowing that my mother is going to be safe with such trusted staff.
