It's All About What Our Guests & Employees Think About Us

My mom was there for a little over 2 weeks. The staff are excellent and her care was great. Very clean facility. I would highly recommend this place to anyone without hesitation.

My mother is a skilled resident of Willow Creek and raves about all the meals served saying it’s far better than St Francis Hospital. All residents that I interact with say the same thing and I just feel this needs to be shared and known. It really means so much to the residents! Thank you!

– Michelle

Caring staff and hands on management, doctors and medical practitioners. No hesitation with placing a loved-one here.

– Leigh [Natasha]

My husband was a resident at The Laurels for about 6 months. He received excellent care there. Communication between all the healthcare professionals regarding my husband’s condition, treatment, and progress occurred on a daily basis. The physical therapy department was also exceptional.

My Mom has been here for rehab from broken bones. They have been great and now she will be a long term resident. They have been great with the transition. I would like to also add: Shannon Bowman with the dietary team has been wonderful, she checks on my Mom whenever she is at work. She asks if m... Read More

Ginny, the marketing/admissions director is wonderful, so I will start with that. She is experienced, compassionate, and a "gets things done" person. Her guidance during a very traumatic time for us was invaluable. Also, she helped us make some adjustments after we arrived to help my mom settle in t... Read More

Advocacy

Skilled nursing communities (SNFs) like Ciena Healthcare provide crucial services for our most vulnerable population: the frail and elderly. Today’s SNFs have significantly evolved over time to provide both long-term comprehensive care and short-term rehabilitation services. However, in comparison to other medical settings, especially hospitals, SNFs are often overlooked for important resources and funding.

As health care evolves, skilled nursing communities are increasingly providing care previously delivered in hospitals. Nationwide, the 65 and older population will double over the next 20 years. By 2040, it could triple. As our population ages, SNFs are becoming increasingly vital to the care and wellbeing of our seniors.

SNFs need advocates and allies to actively engage with their representatives and speak up about important issues facing our industry. This page is designed to share ways you can help support SNFs and the vital services they provide for our elders.

Contact Your Elected Officials and Voice Your Support for SNFs!

It is crucial the voices of SNF supporters be heard by Congress. Members of Congress value their constituents’ opinions and it is critical they hear from our advocates and allies.
