Home Safety Inspection and Discharge Assistance
A cornerstone of our short-term nursing and rehabilitation services is our Home Safety Visit. During this visit to your home, a member of our trained therapy team will inspect the area they will be recovering in and provide recommendations on any barriers or safety risks that might pose problems. This is especially important if a patient has limited mobility or will need to use any mobility assistance devices.
In addition to providing recommendations for safety, our visiting therapists will review any prescribed equipment and medications your loved one will require once they return home. We want to ensure patients and their families understand how to use all required equipment, as well as any specialized dosage or medication administration instructions.
