I’ll save you all a headache read what I write all the way through. This is my second family member in this facility. Eight years ago, my father and recently, my mother. The place is nice. It’s ran by nice people. It’s clean it’s about the nicest one in the area. Try to find a place that wasn’t scary for my mother and this place wasn’t scary. All the other places in the area within 25 miles are trash. I wouldn’t put my dog in those places. So here you have it this place is no different than any other rehab facility nor is it different from any hospital. I have experienced them both and it comes down to that the midnight shift is the midnight shift. Even at the hospital, Hospital was worse. Every RN we had was great, no matter what shift. It’s the nursing assistants , not all but just a handful that have zero business being employees anywhere. Then the other side of that coin, there’s some nursing assistants that you fall in love with that you would take home if you were rich and have them take care of your family member forever. Some are just born to take care of people and they’re just born with angel wings. So if there was 50 nursing assistants 5 were bad 42 of them were good and three or four, had angel wings. The young girl who does Speech therapy is a wonderful young lady who does a great job Physical therapy people are very kind and nice. The lady who runs it is from a third-party company she’s an absolute buffoon. She has zero business doing her job. She has no idea on what she’s doing And or how to run a physical therapy unit. She’s the most ignorant Person I met the entire time there. She comes into the room ready to battle before she even knows what’s going on If I was her boss, she’d be canned. My mother went from the hospital physical therapy to the Physical therapy there she went backwards, almost 6 weeks. What she was doing at the end of her 1 months stay at the hospital they neglected here until her last 2 weeks then finally got her back to what she accomplished 2 months earlier. Remember the therapist at the hospital are doctors they’re not doctors at the Physical therapy at nursing homes. But I forgot to tell you, the lady who runs it a third-party company is an absolute buffoon. Has no business doing that job she does not know anything about the job. She’s completely unorganized. She’s an absolute train wreck. Now to the administration, the administration is awesome. So when you do come across a dingbat like the one who is in charge of the Physical therapy and or the handful of horrible nursing assistants. When you took your complaints to them, they reacted to it immediately. Any issues that we had were solved almost instantaneously. And I’m talking about the administrator and everyone below him in every area except for the dingbat in Physical therapy. Any issues arise, you go straight to the boss and they handle it and they handle it kindly professionally, and quickly. But this place is no different than any other Physical therapy place nor is it different than any hospital. You have to be there with your family member from the time they open to the time they close. It’s 8 AM to 8 PM. You have to be vigilant if you don’t visit your family member they’re not going get the same care no matter where you put them. That’s just the bottom line end of story no two ways about it. In doing so you’re there you’re getting to know the nurses the nurse assistants you’re getting to know the staff. Once you build up a report with them always sudden your family will get better attention for your loved one. Everything I wrote, you was legit. It’s all on how you want to take care of your loved one. I recommend the place it’s a nice facility. The administration and staff are awesome RNs are awesome. 98% of the nursing assistants are good and then like I said, there’s some that have angel wings. 🌹 Did I mention the lady who is third-party that runs The Physical therapy is an absolute freaking dingbat if I didn’t well here you go. Be with your family open to close you get better results anywhere you go

I would like to give an OUTSTANDING REVIEW to Steve from the Maintenance Department at Regency At Canton. Steve wears so many hats within the organization and he has a phenomenal spirit and he leads with integrity and compassion, and that is what makes him so special. Today, I was visiting my dear close friend as she recovers and gets well. My close friend is well loved and certainly adored by everyone was having problems with an extreme amount of static in her resident phone line and she was unable to hear her callers. I asked for assistance at the front desk, but who know that Steve would be just amazingly kind, attentive, and patient. He went above in beyond to track down my friend a new phone, new phone cord, we had fun as we tested the line from the hallway while he used his cell phone to make sure the new phone worked. Steve you are the MVP! Thank you for your service. Steve deserves a PAY INCREASE!

My Mother was at the Regency Of Canton for about a month. She thoroughly enjoyed her stay with all the staff who treated her with great respect. My mother enjoyed attending therapy, as the therapy department really provided a structured program, are very friendly. She was especially thrilled to participate in activities by being able to play the piano and interact with her peers and facility staff. My mother enjoyed all the nurses with their kindness and knowledge. She felt the CNAs were also very attentive. I highly recommend Regency Of Canton for your loved one or close friends that may need 24 hour care and services.
