Short-Term Nursing and Rehabilitation in Shelby Township, MI

My grandmother recently stayed at this location for roughly two months. The staff went above and beyond to make her stay comfortable. The place is very clean and well taken care of. Everyone I came in contact with was amazing. They made sure she was comfortable, cleaned and changed very often. Even if she wasn’t ready to be changed, they were still checking on her. They also were very attentive with visitors. Asking if I needed anything while I was there and often checking in to make sure I was okay as well. OT and PT worked great with her as well. Going in, she was non verbal, no movement on her right side (leg and arm) and not eating. Since coming home she can now say some words, eats on her own and can slightly move her right side and I have to say that was 100% because Regency worked with her to the fullest. I can’t say enough great things about this place. Please consider taking your loved ones here.

These are my angels. They take such good care of my husband. I feel such relief when I am not there that he is safe and yep even loved there. I could never ask for better women than these. Lisa is his aide most of the time. She is the best!!!

My mom had a really Bad Stroke in August 2024. She could not use her right side at all. She could not sit up, walk, eat or talk. She was at Regency of Shelby for 2 1/2 months before she came home. She can now sit up, move her right leg a bit,eat and starting to talk. The Nurses, PT and OT are amazing. They met her every need. I thank them for all the hard work they put into my mom. She's on a great path to recovery.

My mom has been a patient at Regency at Shelby at least 4 times in the past since 2018 and just recently had a 3 week stay and she loves the staff and the care that was provided. She continues to tell me how much she loved everyone there. I would recommend this care facility for your loved ones. Therapy and nursing staff is wonderful.

My mom was in Regency of Shelby and she had such a good experience. She loved the staff and said they were always good to her, the food was decent and the place was always clean. The gym is big and the PT staff helped get her back in shape.

I was extremely overwhelmed and ecstatic to find Regency at Shelby for my husband’s rehab facility. Every single staff member was caring, supportive and helpful. The communication between family members and staff was excellent. We were always given updates and feedback. If at any time they weren’t sure about something, they always found out and got back to you! Incredible staff, great rehab, great all around facility!
