Short-Term Nursing and Rehabilitation in St. Clair Shores, MI

Staff are very friendly and helpful, very nice place and welcoming. I would recommend someone looking for short term skilled care and rehabilitation or long term care. It's easier to be seen by doctor or any medical staff.

Visited my 94yr old father with my mother today and was very impressed with the cleanliness and overall esthetic of the facility. It all felt and sounded quiet and spotless. Staffing is of paramount importance in a setting like this, and I'm unable to give Laura Minor enough credit for her professionalism and kindness. After asking her for directions to dad's room, she immediately knew that he had eaten breakfast, and exactly the three groups of doctors that had paid him a visit this morning. If all Healthcare professionals had this level of exactitiude and warmth we would be in very, very good hands Thank you Laura!!

I really like Regency at St Clair Shores for my father rehab The staff was very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. The nurses always answered my questions or called the person I needed to talk to. The facility was clean and beautiful. I would refer this facility anyone who needs rehab.

The staff were very kind and efficient. Physical and occupational therapy is exceptional. The doctors and social worker are wonderful. This was my second time at Regency and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

The nurses at Regency St Clair Shores are caring and know their stuff . The PT personal too. The PT room was large and well equipped . Food was good, aides were friendly ,nice and helpful. Cleaning staff kept the room clean. Several nice common areas for family visits.

I’m sharing this from my own experience. my mom is in This place it’s very clean. It’s very organized and compared to other places that she has been, I feel safe with her being here. Everyone has their own individual experience with places like these and I am speaking from my own perspective. My mom is safe. The staff is good the food is not bad and I appreciate all the hard-working nurses, CNA, RN,LPN,PT, OT and other staff that’s doing a great job taking care of these people in need. Angie is one of the head nurses I met at this facility She is very hands-on and thorough very nice lady even stays extra hours to make sure paperwork and patient medication are all ordered and prescribed And I feel safe with my mom in her care also a gentleman named leandre very skilled at cleaning the patients and attending to their needs 💪🏾.Also the physical therapy at this facility was recommended from a very good doctor from St. John hospital she said it was the best in the area and they work you hard to get you back on your feet. So thank you Regency for all of your good work and excellence. I appreciate it keep it going 💖

My Aunt was there for rehab and the facility was clean. The meals were nice portions, therapy was beneficial and she was able to come home using a walker.

I’ve had my papa stay here before he passed away few years before Covid and they did wonderful with him, they took the best care of him during and after. When my papa passed away, the nurses put all his items into a plastic bins and was even crying with us telling us how sweet my old man was. And now in 2024 my dad is currently staying here and has had nothing but amazing care, his team has been on top of everything and on the days I can’t come visit they are very polite with me while I’m on video call even saying good morning. This is the ONLY rehab/nursing home I will recommend to ANYONE. I’m not a patient here and they’ve even been accommodating to me, my daughter (1) and partner while we visit. Comments my dad has made: My dad said he loves the meals, his night nurse is amazing. The guy who addresses his wounds is very caring when doing it and one of his nurses is on top of every medication, caring and patient. I personally want to say thank you to everyone who has been taking such good care of my family and kudos to the owner.

My Aunt was a long term resident at Regency and I wanted to express my appreciation for Nora, the social worker, who was always available to help navigate any needs and Nurse Jennifer, a true blessing, who provided wonderful, compassionate care and understanding. You are appreciated more than you know!

Employees were proficient. One concern though was lack of meal variety. I do feel that the facility and patient concern deserves commendation.
