What Is a LifeVest^®?

A ZOLL LifeVest^® is a wearable cardioverter defibrillator (WCD) designed to protect individuals at risk of sudden cardiac arrest (SCA), a condition where the heart suddenly stops beating. Unlike implantable defibrillators, LifeVest® is worn on the outside of the body, providing constant monitoring and immediate defibrillation if a life-threatening heart rhythm is detected.
